Sparrowhawk, a predator. Fortunately a rare visitor to the garden.

We have a flock of maybe 30 parakeets living locally.
24th May 2020, lots of Starling fledglings on the lawn, learning to eat food. Quite dangenerous for them.
Starling fledglings drinking from the pond, they are brown, adults are darker with white dots.
Starlings on the bread feeder. In May they can eat two loaves of bread a day.
Unfortunately the fledglings often drop their bread so the pigeons eat it instead.
Bathing in the pong again. Maybe also eating tadpoles.

19th November 2020, typical breakfast, cat and fox on patio, crows and collared doves eating at end of garden.
Four collared doves today and the crow family.
22nd November 2020, this morning the two magpies, two crows and the fox for breakfast.
Joined by a third magpie, unusual to see more than two.
Parakeets are always hungry.
31st December 2020, the birds usually have to wait if the foxes leave them any food.

Who sometimes fight each other.
Sounds like children crying.
14th February 2020, sometimes more foxes for breakfast. All look well fed.
19th February 2020, only three foxes today.
20th March 2020, three foxes again today.
22nd March 2020, one fox waiting for dimmer at 5pm.
6th April 2020, breakfast again.

13th April 2020 7pm sometimes they get food closer to the house.
24th April 2020 waiting for dinner at 7pm.

19th May 2020, joined by a thinner fox, perhaps one of the weaker cubs from last summer.

5th June 2020, the thin fox seems in better condition after regularly visiting for dinner.
5th July 2020, 8:45pm, four foxes eating while the two ducks eat bread and bird seed by the pond.

8th July 2020 10am, unusual to see foxes sitting on the lawn at this time, they should be sleeping somewhere.
13th July 2020, breakfast for the gang.

5th August 2020, now waiting for dinner in the evening sunshine.
27th August 2020, lots of leaves already, been a dry summer, trees need water.
28th August 2020, four foxes for dinner. No cubs this year.
30th August 2020, they seem to have beter coats today...better light?
15th September 2020, usual four for dinner.
6th October 2020, only two for dinner, and one crow.
10th October 2020, 9.30am a late breakfast for the foxes and collared doves.
